Read the number per hand
Both selected starting pairs are described as reaching 50 lb per dumbbell. A pair totalling 100 lb does not give you 100 lb in one hand. Confirm the exact set and unit count in the offer.
Look between the endpoints
Do the available intermediate settings suit how you intend to use the equipment? Do not infer every possible increment from a headline describing a small adjustment.
Plan beyond the initial purchase
Compare the cost and compatibility of later equipment with buying a different setup now. Expansion is useful only if the correct parts remain obtainable at a cost you accept.
When to stop narrowing the shortlist
If neither pair meets your movement, handling or load requirements, neither wins. The comparison explains product tradeoffs; it does not assess your physical readiness or prescribe an exercise load.
