HOME EQUIPMENT
Buy for the next useful session.
Build a room around the activity you want to make easier. Start with one constraint, then compare the equipment that could solve it.

Choose the question that matches your next decision. Illustrations show topics; they are not product tests.

Choose the job
For adjustable dumbbells, the decision is usable resistance and an adjustment routine you can live with. For a bench, it is the support positions your planned exercises require. For a treadmill, it is an indoor walking or running arrangement you can actually accommodate. These are separate purchases with different checks.
Map the whole arrangement
Measure the room, access through doors, storage positions and the space you need to move around equipment. A product footprint is only the object itself. Record the clearances and installation requirements from the exact model manual before deciding the layout.
Build in stages
Keep what already meets your needs. Identify which missing capability prevents the next planned session, then evaluate that purchase first. A full room package is not automatically better value than one carefully chosen addition.
Use the pages in the order that helps
The dumbbell comparison is our existing two-model shortlist. The bench and treadmill pages introduce category choices and documented reference models. They do not establish a market-wide winner or a tested performance ranking.
