HOME EQUIPMENT
Choose positions before features.
A bench should support your intended setup and fit the room when it is in use and when the session ends.

Flat or adjustable?
A flat bench is a candidate when the positions you need are all horizontal. An adjustable design belongs on the shortlist when you specifically need incline settings. Write down the positions you intend to use before comparing a longer specification list.
Compare the complete setup
Read the dimensions, pad shape, adjustment mechanism and permitted storage orientation for each exact model. Consider how you will reach the dumbbells and move the bench. Storage dimensions and the room needed during use answer different questions.
Make exclusions first
If decline is essential, a flat-incline bench will not satisfy that requirement. If upright storage is essential, the manufacturer must explicitly support it. Do not infer either capability from a photograph of another bench in the same range.
One documented reference
